During the summer I read Black and White by Paul Volponi. My first choice of research topic is racism. Racism is the idea that one race is better than another. Over the years racism has decreased but is still present. God tells us to love our neighbors as ourselves. We aren't supposed to look at what color skin the person has to determine if he will be your friend. There are two sides of racism because some people look past the race of the person and some don't trust other races from past wars or what’s on the news. My paper would argue that racism is completely wrong.
My second research topic is about robbery. There are many ways to get money legally so why would you have to go out and do stick ups. There are two sides of robbery because some people think it is easier to just go out and rob someone than work at a job for 8 hours a day. The other side of people find it wrong to steal and can support themselves and family by working. My paper would argue that robbing a person is not ok and they should go to jail.
