Jodi Picoult is a 46 year old author that has 21 best selling books. Picoult is a graduate from Princeton who then attended Harvard to get a master's degree in education.  Her husband Tim Van Leer was a student at Princeton while she was attending school. The first book she wrote was during her first pregnancy. Picoult now lives in Hanover, New Hampshire with her husband and three children.  She has many animals that live with her including two donkeys, two Springer spaniels, two rescue puppies, eight chickens, two geese, and sometimes a Holstein. Picoult has received many awards including Book Browse Diamond Award, Romance Writers of America, New England Bestseller for Fiction, and many more.

I expect this book to be very interesting. I knew this was about two sister where one is sick and the other gives organs to keep the other alive but I did not really know all that much. I also think it will be very sad and give a new perspective on relationships of sisters. I have a sister of my own and I would not think twice of helping her in any way I could but giving your own body is something that is very hard but still worth the pain.  I have not seen the movie so once I am done the book I would really like to see the movie to see any differences and similarities.
